Cebu, you scared me like hell I peed in my pants!

As requested by my FRIEND!!! Faye...hahaha!  here ya' go!
(posted from my old blogsite)

This is my 2nd time in Cebu but this trip is definitely one SHOKOT! trip.

Why? Here's why.

Shokot #1:

The Edge Coaster

This ride is 38 floors high that moves along the four sides of Crown Regency Cebu. It can be tilted to an angle good enough for you to pee in your pants. Hmm...

James and Keeks laughing and cursing at the same time, like sacrificial virgins  to be offered to the volcano!  SCARY. REALLY.

So James and I, rode the edge coaster together. As far as I remember, James has no fear in heights, I on the other hand, is an altophobic since gradeschool. But, I have overcome this fear since I started trying out rollercoasters, log jams, rides and what have you.

Come Cebu, Come Edge Coaster... I dunno what happened.
The instructor briefed us that incase we want to tilt the freakin machine, we just push up/down the button. He even said that the ride will tilt to the max angle in the first few seconds.

first few seconds? O-KAY! No Problemo! BUT NO!!! It didnt go back to the normal angle. We're afraid to press the button as the machine might tilt 360.
Anyhoo, after a few seconds I peed in my shorts. Uh-huh! Dont judge.

For this experience I give,

5 Shokot STARS!!!

Shokot #2 :

The Skywalk

We heart Kat, the skywalker!

I always imagine myself jumping off the glass from the malls. So this sky walk I thought would end the days of my life. Still, whatevs, I paid for this, so Imma do what I came to do!

I survived this by walking and walking  like a Binondo kalesa horse not looking sideways and definitely not backwards.

Kat cried though like she's about to have an asthma attack. I thought we're gonna be needing a stretcher just incase she passes out. hehe.

                                                                           Three Shokot Stars for this!!

Shokot #3:

Scuba Diving

Keekoy is not good at listening to instructions. But she is lucky, very lucky.
I was hesitant to do scuba as I was telling Faye, it was never in my To Do List - in this Lifetime. I was thinking of doing the Parasailing once and for all, but i thought hey, I can do parasailing whenever, but Scuba, I wouldnt. Not if somebody pushes me to do it. in this case, it's Faye.
Oh well.

James and I together at the first dive taken with an echoserang fishlet.
We were arms to arms with "Koya" Master Diver underwater which Goqs found disturbing. I say, its funny and gay at the same time! Parang, pasyal pasyal lang sa mall.

We were assigned one diver per pair. So pairings would be Moi + James, Jayme + Poy, Kat + Goqs and Faye + Paul. They briefed us first with the materials and hand symbols under water.

In the first dive, we were taught how to "regularize" our oxygen mask and goggles incase water sipped in. We were also taught how to "regularize" our hearing chuva. Regularize? Really now, I dont know the term. Go figure!

Since the edge coaster, I promised my self to listen to instructions very carefully. But still, I was laughing under the water and the instructor could see my mouth open while I was biting on the oxygen chuva. That's bad! Good thing, Im really good with the "regularization" of oxygen mask.

Here comes the shokot part...

Then, while making pasyal pasyal underwater, I saw a little commotion- Poy was being taken up. I knew there was a problem but I thought it was minor only to find out after an hour that IT WAS INDEED LIFE THREATENING!!

Poy told me (seriously) at the taxi ride back to the hotel that He really thought he was going to die. He couldnt breathe because there was water in his oxygen chorva and that he panic, he forgot what to do. He ingested a lot of water and could feel his lungs are filling up. I told him that its OK now and kid that at least he lived to tell the tale. Haha!

I award Three Shokot Stars!!!!

On a brighter side, Im glad nobody's hurt and Im glad I did scuba diving. I liked it. I would maybe try it again but I'd like a more attractive dive spot. Yesss naman! Plus, this trip is one sweet deal!!!!
