Keekoy goes to Obamalalaland: Ang Pelikulang Disney

Since, I have a new template for my blog, It's time to write about Obamaland!!! ... Just because...

After Ondoy last 2009 (which by the way caused me to wallow in misery.. OA na.. but yes, don't get me started about the effects of Ondoy because I tell you, I never knew what Athlete's foot is until Ondoy. DONT ASK! <-- and that's even the least thing to be gloomy about.) 

We thought it's only right to give ourselves a break and head to US of A!

While at Lalaland...Spent All Saint's Day at Disney /California Adventure with Imma and Miko. How cool is that? I always spend my November 1 at Eternal sitting on monoblock chairs or the tomb itself eating beef caldereta, baked mac and pichi-pichi...the usual...yummm, by the way.

Miko, is my mom's amiga- Auntie Zeny's daughter. They are our neighbor as well. They are 3 tumblings away from Gerald Anderson's house! haha! Miko and I are just acquainted with each other until we became friends at Obamaland.

Imma, is Miko's friend. I only met him at Disney. He was an artista. Yehess! He used to be in segments in the now defunct TV Show Wazzup Wazzup.

First Ride: Tower of Terror 

This attraction takes place in the fictional Hollywood Tower Hotel. We were led to the lobby which was very dark and covered with dust. The bellboy then led us to the boiler room and into this place that looks like a library ( Obviously, I wasnt paying attention...)

then, the next thing I remember I was strapped to my seat in this "Out of Order" elevator. As the elevator ascends, its doors open several times to what seemed to be another dimensione <--- I wasn't thrilled and I thought I'd sleep if this goes on....UNTIL.... 

at the last "dimension", before the narration ended, the elevator started  to drop !!! causing most riders to rise off from their seats and held down only by the seatbelt!

Through out the ride, I was laughing and panting at the same time!!! 5 Stars!

Second Ride: Soarin' Over California

Andun ako sa dulo, hanapin mo ako!!! harharhar! Wala ako diyan, taken from google images.

Hands Down. The best ride ever. Prolly the best 4 minutes in my whole stay at LA.

Soarin' Over California is a simulated hang glider tour of California. The whole vehicle is lifted into a huge IMAX dome where scenic spots of California were projected. There was transition from daytime to dusk,  from air balloons to kayaking to the evergreen mountains etc etc. Mind you, when we were at the mountains, I can really smell the scent of evergreens! It ended with fireworks over the Disney Castle.

Simply.Amazing. 5 stars!

Third Ride: California Screamin'

I really dunno why I rode this. The last time I checked, I'm altophobic - pls. refer to the dictionary.

Anyways Hiways, my fez during the ride was like this... Datu Puti Pinakurat style!

Ako ay mahirap lamang, stolen shot from the pictures projected on screens after the ride. No moolah to buy the original picture. will cost me 10 mickey mouse dollars!

Chilled at The Animation Academy where the three of us learned how to draw Goofy.
