When was the last time you did something for the First Time?? Ooh lala Puerto Princesa!

First of all, ANG HABA NG TITLE!!!

Anyways Hiways,

This was a post from long time ago... I'm re-posting it, just because.
(Ok Fine, Faye, Palawan is a-must-go-to!, But still, we need to go to Coron! so please please, pretty please... lezz go and book the tickets!)

First time snorkeling.

Amazing beaches in Palawan. Taken by Goqs and Poy. Mabuhay kayo!
Prior to Palawan, I have been to Bora and Bohol but I was a loser not to try snorkeling. I especially like the Snake Island (the left most picture), its a long walk to get to the tail-end, but it's worth it!

First time seeing a starfish (haha!) and a Crocodile as Big as Kebs, maybe even bigger!

First time seeing vegetable, animal, houses and what-have-you's Rock Formations!
and oh, even Jesus rock formation! Yes!- like SM, we've got it all for you!

entrance to the underground cave

The very weary and very long mountain hike/trekking to the underground cave was unimaginable!
which leads me to...

First time walking/ trekking like we're in the Bataan Death March!!!
hence...
First time feeling like I was in some kind of near Cardiac Arrest.

We walked and trekked and hiked and crossed the tides for three straight hours! Three freakin' hours!
(that inlcudes the dangers of malaria, tripping and slipping that may lead to instant death, or total body cast; dehydration and all that jazz.)

Apparently, some alien guest from the hotel we're staying at, told Goqs that we dont need to ride a boat going from the shore to the underground cave. It will just take 30 minutes to get there if we trek.
Oh kay!! Can do!!! That is, IF WE ARE THE JUSTICE FRIENDS!

But no, we aint the Justice Friends... we're just muggles with no super powers.

After a series of life threatening obstacles- like the Old, delapitated narrow footbridge we crossed and constant sighs of relief "I-thank-you-God-I'm-still-alive", we got to the underground river with a small boat.

It was really quiet inside the cave and I was afraid to make noise and open my mouth because the bats might poop inside it. Eeeww for the thought. The water is cold and  refreshing, I was touching it while the bangka was gliding onto it, then quickly put my hands inside the bangka when I thought of Mother...

Mother: "Achie, always keep your hands inside the boat, there might be a crocodile in the cave."

Ok. that's a kill-joy!

the Hills are alive, with the sound of Music!!! Froilan Maria meets Mary Poppins here!

Palawan was one helluva' trip! Too many funny pictures to post!
Just remember,
Bring lots of water and never  use MAC makeup (you will look like Michael Jackson's Wax! Believe me! or you can ask Mels) if you're going to trek to the underground river Entrance.
or better yet, just pay the freakin' boat ride!

I am very sorry for the disturbing mongoloid images. Please scroll down quickly as this might scare you or haunt you  in your dreams. forever.

So, when was the last time you did something for the first time?
